Coming up at Living Faith this week…
Hello everyone,
We enjoyed a restful yet productive March Break – attending to lots of projects around the house – and I’m eager to catch up with each one of you this Sunday at Living Faith. Thanks so much to Nancy Gallant for leading our service last week.
We head into Holy Week this Sunday, a time of mystery and magic in our faith.
This Sunday, we celebrate Palm Sunday and I’m going to suggest that this is a story which highlights the fickle nature of humanity. I hope you’ll join us on Sunday to find out what I mean by that. Our teaching will focus on Luke 19:28-40. You might like to read it in advance and you can find an online version at www.biblegateway.com.
You can experience the “magic and mystery” of Holy Week by attending a few special events we have planned. On Good Friday, we will be hosting our 2nd “Journey to the Cross” interactive event where participants will travel at their own pace through a series of stations set up at the church; each station depicting an event during the week leading up to Christ’s crucifixion. You’re welcome to drop by any time between 1 – 3pm next Friday.
Our Easter celebrations begin at 9:30am April 4th with breakfast, followed by our celebration communion service at 10:30am. An Easter egg hunt, crafts, and games will be available for the children. Please invite your family, friends, and neighbours to join in the celebration.
May the peace of Christ be with you,
Heather
